Apparently this last weekend ended up being the Mason family reunion, cuz we were all in town. Lee and Jenny and Quinn and Cymri came down from Utah, whilst Lon and Amelia took the trek from Flagstaff. We had to come all the way over from Tempe to Mesa, but I took the long way via Show Low to get there (I went with the Priests to a cabin up there to play in snow and shoot guns, meaning the shooting of the guns was the primary concern). It was a great trip, but i managed to get back late and so we were about 2 hours late to the family pictures which made everyone happy!!
So we had a delicious feast thanks to Someburros on Saturday evening and then we were ready to ransack Cassie's house on Sunday for Cardinals football and lots of catching up and eating and playing games . It was more fun than it has been in a long time with all of us. We are happy for that fact.
What was funny is that Vern was being social and funny and Linda made the comment that Dimitri needed a hug, and Vern offered and then was hesitating so we said we'd pay her a dollar to do it and so she did and Dimitri's look was priceless. It was a funny moment. Well, that's enough for now - time to go enjoy my Monday off and play a little before my busy work week starts.
